KoolerMax Series replacement filter kit for models: AR-104H ONLY

High capacity, replace every 12 month,  Part no. KPAK-104

1st stage: high capacity, multi-layer 5 micron sediment filter, to remove sediment, rust, sand (replace every 6-12 months)

2nd stage: high capacity carbon filter, carbon block, coconut shell activated carbon removes chlorine, taste & odor (replace every 12 months)

* We have modified the filter from granular to carbon block for higher performance.

3rd stage: special high efficiency TFC RO Membrane filter, carbon block, p/n HTFC-150, (1:1 ratio) Capacity: 100 GPD gallons per day at 60 psi input pressure.  120GPD at 80 psi, 150 GPD at 100 psi. This is a high efficiency 1 to 1 ratio RO membrane.  The production rate is about 260 to 300 mL per minute and the drain rate using 300 mL/min flow restrictor is about 280 to 320 mL/min depending on input pressure.  Therefore the product to drain ratio is approximately 1 to 1 (versus a conventional, typical RO membrane the product to drain ratio is 1:3 to 1:4) The rejection rate is pressure dependent as well.  Average NaCl rejection is about 90% to 93% (replace every 2-3 years)

4th stage: specialty filter, SC207 Refillable Color Changing DI filter, transparent plastic casing,  Refillable Cartridge with Seals; when the DI resins are exhausted (color becomes very dark/black), simply unscrew the bottom to refill new DI resin.  Comes with color changing highest grade De-ionized (DI) resin. High capacity resin, Each tube holds about 1 lb of resin inside. 

* THIS FILTER SC207 IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH MOST KOOLERMAX SERIES RO SYSTEMS EXCEPT FOR MODEL AR-104H, unless it is installed as additional stage filter with this single stage add-on kit.
